What’s new in VitalsBar
Every change to the native macOS app, newest first. Updates install in the background; this is the record of what shipped.
Added
- Support for incident.io status pages, with the same component-level detail as Atlassian Statuspage. Point at one sub-page of a multi-region page (e.g. www.finstatus.com/eu-hosting) to scope it to that region.
- Support for Updog (updog.ai), Datadog's cross-provider outage tracker: point at updog.ai for the whole board, or updog.ai/status/<provider> (e.g. amazonaws) for one provider and its services.

- VitalsBar Pro: unlock self-hosted relay feeds (the vitalsbar.v1 format) with a license key. Public status pages stay free.
- A new License tab in Settings activates a seat for this Mac, shows your license status and update window, and can release the seat for use on another Mac.

- A relay (vitalsbar.v1) source without an active Pro license now shows a “VitalsBar Pro required” row instead of resolving — Statuspage sources are unaffected.

- First release: a native macOS menu-bar app that rolls the status pages of the services you depend on into a single green / orange / red signal.
- Aggregates any Atlassian Statuspage source (GitHub, Cloudflare, Datadog, OpenAI, Claude by default) via its public summary.json.
- Component-level health: a provider’s state reflects only the subsystems actually degraded, each nameable and silenceable on its own.
- Flat, instant popover pane with per-provider rows, a recent-history sparkline, and a click-through to each service’s status page.
- Menu-bar badge counts how many providers sit in the worst (failing) state; the pulse icon takes on the worst colour.
- Silencing that survives restarts, keyed to stable per-source ids, with an “until resolved” option that clears itself on recovery.
- Settings window: editable “Label=host” source list, show/hide operational systems, launch at login, refresh interval, and Sparkle auto-updates.
